Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. in Georgia seeks an Assistant Manager - SolidWorks to lead a design team while providing hands-on SolidWorks expertise on packaged-equipment projects. This role balances technical execution with personnel leadership and requires thorough knowledge of P&IDs, BOMs, and applicable standards.

You will supervise, coach, and develop designers, coordinate design interfaces with engineering and project management, and ensure safe, compliant, on-time delivery within budget.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SolidWorks with production-ready models and drawings.
• Experience supporting Lead Designers on packaged equipment projects.
• Ability to read P&IDs and related engineering documents.
• Familiarity with NEC, IEC, ASME, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and workload balancing for designers and drafters.
• Coordinate design interfaces with Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Create and check production-ready SolidWorks models and drawings.
• Mentor staff and enforce TAS design standards and procedures.
• Assist with labor estimates and project scheduling.
