Job summary

NOV is seeking personnel for solids control operations, including rig-ups/rig-downs, analysis, and minor repairs. The role requires solid knowledge of solids control, the ability to travel as needed, and training to maintain NOV WSS Core standards.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, relevant mechanical experience, and a clean driving record. Background checks and health assessments are prerequisites.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience.
  • Must possess a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function (FIT) test, and substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.
  • Perform Solids Control Analysis of the equipment.
  • Perform electrical rig-ups, rig downs, and minor repairs.
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs.
  • Follow the proper sampling procedure.
  • Complete daily reports and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
  • Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
  • Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
