Job summary

N OV is seeking personnel in San Antonio, TX for a hands-on warehouse role involving forklift operations, rigging, and load securing to ensure safe transport. You will pack orders, verify counts, and perform paper transactions at the shipping office, following NOV policies and HSE guidelines.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs and long periods of standing. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, is able to work overtime and shifts, and can adapt to a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required to support business operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Employee will be regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; talk or hear.
  • Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, and Push, Pull up to 10 hours daily.
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 10 hours daily.

  • Rigger – using hand signals guide the crane and/or forklift operators
  • Ensure load is correctly tied down to prevent damage and load is safe for transport
  • Use pneumatic nail gun safely to build dunnage
  • Capable of packing orders and confirming counts accurately
  • Perform handwritten paper transactions, present to shipping office
  • Pull finished goods from inventory locations
  • Wear appropriate PPE in required areas
  • Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
