Job summary

The City of Charlotte seeks a Vendor Management Technician to monitor contracted solid waste collection services, manage cart programs, and verify service levels. • High School Graduation or Equivalent and three to five years of relevant work experience.
• Or an Associate Degree with no relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor contract adherence and evaluate contractor performance against contract duties.
• Verify missing or damaged cart requests from residents and deliver carts as needed.
• Conduct site visits to cart facilities and review cart maintenance and retirement decisions.
• Enter findings into the Solid Waste Work and Asset Management system and coordinate with the administrator.
