AGEISS Inc. seeks a Solid Waste Specialist to support Fence-to-Fence tasks at Patrick Space Force Base. This role primarily handles Solid Waste Program management and will assist with related tasks as needed.

The position involves ensuring environmental compliance, coordinating recycling and reuse initiatives, and delivering training on waste management. Candidates should be prepared for outdoor work and occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper management of regulated waste and recycling programs.
• Provide creative solutions to meet environmental goals at Patrick Space Force Base.
• Public speak and present training on solid waste management.
• Respond to audit requests and inquiries from government agencies.
• Analyze cost-benefit data and research strategies to lower costs.
• Collaborate to establish recycling, reduction and reuse options for waste streams.
• Conduct benchmarking, process studies, and technology research for recycling and reuse opportunities.
• Support landfill operations, composting, MRW facility, soil management, and related activities.
• Collect, analyze, and prepare reporting data for regulatory agencies.
• Conduct field sampling as needed.
