CEC is growing our operations and has an opportunity to hire a Project Manager to contribute to our Waste Management Practice in Irvine, CA. As a Project Manager with CEC, you will assist in expanding the practice in market sectors that include traditional Solid Waste and Industrial Waste. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing client relationships, as well as managing projects, mentoring junior staff, making hiring recommendations, and providing direction on a variety of projects for private and public sector clients.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is between $100,000-150,000+ based on experience and location (in addition, CEC offers overtime pay and other great benefits).

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and manage existing client relationships within the Waste Management Practice.
• Manage projects from inception through delivery for private and public sector clients.
• Mentor junior staff and provide direction on project tasks.
• Provide hiring recommendations for project teams.
• Collaborate across market sectors to expand the practice in Solid Waste and Industrial Waste.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in the Solid Waste industry including engineering design, operations and management.
• Demonstrated business development and client management experience.
• Strong professional relationships with clients in applicable market sectors.
• B.S. in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (M.S. a plus).
• California Professional Engineering (P.E.) Licensure.
• Civil 3D experience.
• Solid understanding of business principles of consulting projects and related project delivery tools.
