Job summary

Louisville Metro Government is hiring for a part-time community sanitation role. The position involves surveying waste containers for contamination, educating residents by tagging containers, and working with a team in a Metro vehicle.

Responsibilities include inspecting containers, scoring contamination, documenting tags, and reporting progress to the office. OSHA safety rules apply, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical, secretarial or customer service experience.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Must wear safety equipment as mandated by OSHA.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Meets regular and punctual attendance standards.
• Able to work a flexible part-time schedule.
• Spends prolonged periods of time standing, walking, and carrying, while exposed to the elements.
• Works in outdoor locations which may include uneven terrain.

Education
