Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, public administration, or business administration; seven years of managerial experience in solid waste operations, including four years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and oversee division operations; monitor service delivery efficiency.
• Manage division goals, policies and priorities; allocate resources and monitor staffing levels.
• Oversee budget development and expenditures; justify and administer budgetary adjustments.
• Select, train, motivate and evaluate division personnel; coordinate staff training.
• Represent division to other divisions and outside agencies; provide staff support to the Solid Waste Director.
