Job summary

The City of Abilene is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist Solid Waste and Recycling customers and division staff with billing, inquiries, and policy education. You will use Tyler ERP and CRM systems to process service requests, respond to inquiries, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of previous customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service via email, in person, and by telephone.
• Manage multiple telephone lines using an ACD phone system.
• Utilize CRM and ERP software to create service requests and research history.
• Process and route inquiries, voicemails, and emails to appropriate personnel.
• Verify customer status and review billing history in ERP systems.
