Job summary

University of Michigan Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to support solid tumor clinics at the Troy Center for Specialty Care. You will join the Hematology/Oncology team and work with multidisciplinary partners to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, including education, research, and quality improvement.

The role supports a new infusion/OR pharmacy setup at the Troy Medical Campus. The position offers hybrid work arrangements and opportunities to contribute to tumor board

Qualifications

• Education/Training: Pharm.D. from an accredited College of Pharmacy or BSPharm with commensurate experience.
• License: Current license to practice pharmacy in Michigan (including a Controlled Substance license) or eligibility to become licensed within 90 days of start date.
• Other: English fluency in reading, writing and speaking; manual dexterity for non-sterile/sterile prep.
• Desirable: PGY1 residency and/or BCPS/BCOP certification; infusion/oncology pharmacy experience with sterile product preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to solid tumor clinics as part of the Hematology/Oncology team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team on treatment plans and tumor-board discussions.
• Educate patients during independent visits and manage supportive care needs.
• Operate under a Collaborative Practice Agreement for antiemetic and supportive care.
• Assist with planning for infusion/OR pharmacy services and cross-training in Infusion/OR settings.

Education

Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) or BSPharm with commensurate experience
