Job summary

Michigan Medicine is seeking a part-time Pharmacist at the Troy Center for Specialty Care to support community and infusion/OR pharmacies. The role features a 0.5 FTE schedule at a state-of-the-art campus near Troy with patient-centered care and teaching responsibilities.

You will review orders, provide MTM and immunizations, and supervise staff while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D. degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy, or BSPharm with commensurate experience.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Michigan (or eligible within 90 days).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English; ability to perform dexterous tasks and extensive computer work.

Responsibilities

• Review, clarify, and process medication orders ensuring appropriate therapy.
• Perform medication reconciliation for transitions of care to outpatient settings.
• Provide patient counseling, MTM services, and immunizations; supervise technical staff.
• Precept UM Pharm.D. students and residents, aiding education and training.
• Collaborate with nursing, providers, pharmacists, and others to optimize patient care.
