Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist - Solid Tumor Oncology for the Main Campus in Cleveland. The role embeds within the inpatient solid tumor service, focusing on pharmacotherapy management, medication optimization, and therapeutic drug monitoring while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

The position offers growth in hematology-oncology with a strong internal medicine component and includes a standard weekday schedule

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• If specialty area requires, specialty residency is required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days.
• Immunization certification (BLS) or equivalent within 90 days of hire if administering vaccines.
• ACLS or PALS certification within one year if applicable.
• Post-graduate residency (PGY2) or PGY1 with two years of experience, or four years as a clinical specialist.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide pharmaceutical care for inpatients.
• Participate in patient care rounds.
• Perform pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and pharmaceutical care.
• Provide general and patient-specific drug information.
• Educate pharmacists, technicians, trainees, nurses and physicians in pharmacotherapy.
