Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist – Solid Tumor Oncology. You will work as a decentralized clinical pharmacist embedded within the inpatient solid tumor oncology service, providing comprehensive pharmacotherapy management, optimizing medication therapy, and supporting multidisciplinary patient care.

This full-time position offers dayshift hours (8:00am–4:30pm) with every 8th weekend rotation and observed holidays.

Qualifications

PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
If specialty area requires, specialty residency is required.
Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
For immunizations or emergency response, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable within stated timelines.
Post-graduate residency (PGY2) or fellowship OR PGY-1 with 2 years clinical experience OR 4 years as a clinical specialist.

Responsibilities

Coordinate pharmaceutical care for hospitalized patients on the solid tumor service.
Participate in patient care rounds and multidisciplinary discussions.
Perform pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and optimization of therapy.
Provide general and patient-specific drug information.
Educate staff, students, and clinicians in pharmacotherapy.
