Essential Contractor Services position. Incumbent must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed for SRC processing on occasion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures Soldiers and civilians have completed every station in the SRC process.
• Make sure all persons processing through SRC signs out on the appropriate roster.
• Validate Soldiers during the Annual SRC process.
• Must have general knowledge of all stations in the Soldier Readiness Center process.
• Performs general administrative duties (i.e. answering phones and answering customers’ questions).
• Use discretion when processing Soldiers’ personal information.
• Assists fellow staff members in controlling the flow of Soldiers throughout the SRC process, to include processing Soldiers for all personnel stations when necessary.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to operate a Personal Computer (PC) with a functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (primarily Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Windows graphical user interface) and Data/web based systems required for task area performing work.
• Must have the appropriate qualifications, certification and/or license under the requirements for the task area being performed under this contract prior to commencement of work.
• The job requires senior level leadership and staff experience.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself to make improvements or take corrective action.
• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
• The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
• The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Ability to read, comprehend and explain instructions, letters, memos, emails and correspondence from inside the organization as well as from external sources. Ability to effectively respond, communicate and present information to senior management, contracting officials, clients and other employees in the organization.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to organize work, define and solve problems, establish and manage priorities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions based on facts. Manager participates in prioritization of work and decision-making on allocation of resources. The incumbent must be able to analyze a situation analytically, evaluate the facts/data and formulate a plan of action.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must possess a valid U.S. state driver’s license, applicable for the type and class of vehicle being operated.
