Job summary

Serco is seeking a Cognitive Performance Specialist to join the Holistic Health and Fitness (H2F) team supporting the US Army. The CPS will develop, coordinate, and implement mental readiness and cognitive performance optimization programs for Soldiers, collaborating with health professionals to assess and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Human Performance, Sport Psychology, Kinesiology/Exercise Science, or Counseling/Psychological fields.
• 3+ years as mental performance coach or sport psychology practitioner with athletes or service members.
• Licensure or certification in mental performance or psychology preferred; CMPC/CCAASP or equivalent within 2 years desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement mental readiness and cognitive performance programs for Soldiers.
• Collaborate with Mental Readiness Director and health professionals on assessment and improvement.
• Deliver cognitive performance training within brigade schedules and educate Soldiers on strategies.
