Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Cognitive Performance Specialist to support the U.S. Army's Holistic Health & Fitness (H2F) initiative.

The CPS will develop and implement mental readiness and cognitive performance programs for Soldiers, combining sport psychology, mental coaching, and resilience training to enhance performance in military settings. You will collaborate with the Mental Readiness Director, deliver education and coaching, manage scheduling for government courses, stay current with

Qualifications

• Legal status to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government facilities (NACI Tier 1).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Three years of experience as mental performance coach or sport psychology practitioner.
• Licensure or CMPC certification or ability to obtain within two years.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and travel 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate Mental Readiness Programs for Soldiers.
• Collaborate with Mental Readiness Director on assessment and improvements.
• Design cognitive performance optimization and training within brigade schedule.
• Provide education, coaching, and mentoring on cognitive skills and readiness.
• Coordinate scheduling of facilities and resources for courses.
• Review literature to keep team updated on evidence-based research.
• Support research and provide data to leadership.
• Participate in in-service training and professional development.
