Job summary

You will work in a production environment to build and rework circuit boards. Responsibilities include hand soldering, component preparation, PCB assembly, quality inspections, maintaining a clean workstation, and reporting production data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in soldering and electronics assembly desired.
• Proficient in hand soldering techniques and using irons, wire, and flux.
• Able to read assembly diagrams and blueprints.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Soldering Operations: Perform soldering tasks using hand tools, soldering irons, and other equipment to join electronic components, wires, and parts according to specifications and quality standards.
• Component Preparation: Prepare electronic components for soldering by cleaning, tinning leads, and applying flux as necessary to ensure proper adhesion and electrical connections.
• Assembly and Integration: Assemble and integrate electronic components onto PCBs, sub-assemblies, or final products following diagrams, work instructions, or blueprints.
• Quality Control: Inspect soldered connections, joints, and assemblies for defects and perform rework or touch-up as required to meet quality standards.
• Workstation Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Documentation and Reporting: Record production data, defects, and non-conformities; report issues to supervisors or engineering personnel.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and safety compliance.
