Job summary

FII USA, Inc. is seeking a Soldering and Rework Training Specialist to deliver hands-on training in soldering, repair, and workmanship standards for manufacturing personnel. You will develop practical programs, evaluate proficiency, and collaborate with Engineering and Quality to improve processes.

The role supports IPC and customer workmanship requirements, maintains the training lab, and oversees qualification activities and training documentation in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• Three or more years in electronics manufacturing, soldering, repair or rework required.
• Experience teaching soldering and rework techniques.
• IPC instructor or trainer certifications preferred where applicable.
• Ability to evaluate workmanship using established criteria.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and maintain soldering, rework, repair, and workmanship training programs.
• Provide classroom and hands-on instruction in soldering, desoldering, and inspection techniques.
• Create lesson plans, demonstrations, and evaluation checklists aligned with procedures.
• Evaluate trainee knowledge and adherence to safety and process standards.
• Offer remedial training to address defects and training gaps.
• Prepare and qualify trainers to ensure consistent delivery of training.
