Job summary

Heven AeroTech is seeking a Soldering Technician to perform precision hand-soldering, inspection, and rework for drone production. You will work under magnification to IPC standards, mentor junior technicians, and help maintain quality documentation.

The role requires 3+ years of hand-soldering in production or engineering, reading schematics, and familiarity with ESD procedures. A competitive benefits package and on-site work in the United States are included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hand-soldering experience in Production or Engineering environments.
• Ability to read Work Instructions, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience mentoring junior technicians on soldering and duties.
• Familiarity with ESD procedures and basic lab tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand-soldering of through-hole, SMT, and fine pitch components on PCBA and small assemblies.
• Assemble, repair, and modify wire harnesses per instructions.
• Inspect solder joints under a microscope and repair non-conformances.
• Read engineering drawings and BOMs; provide feedback to Engineering on documents.
• Maintain and calibrate equipment; report issues.
• Complete travelers, inspection records, and non-conformance docs per QMS.
• Maintain an ESD-safe workstation and follow FOD practices.
• Support first article inspections with Engineering and Quality Control.
• Cross-train and perform other assembly tasks as needed.
