Job summary

Johnson Service Group is seeking an Assembly Operator in Valencia, CA to interpret assembly blueprints, drawings and schematics, assemble, calibrate and test electromechanical switches. The role requires hand soldering per J-STD-001, reading pressure gauges, and using precision instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.

The position is temp-only with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. Ongoing duties include maintaining a clean work area and adhering to safety around high pressure vessels;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Able to Hand Solder per J-STD-001
• Able to read pressure gauges
• Ability to read, speak and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering per J-STD-001
• Adjusts disc springs to required settings
• Checks, synchronizes and tests products using hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Ordinary care to prevent damage of components, tools and equipment and to prevent injury due to operation of high pressure vessels

Must be able to interpret assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specifications to build, calibrate and test electromechanical switches.
