Job summary

Johnson Service Group, Inc. is seeking Assembly Operators for a temporary position in Valencia, CA. You will interpret assembly blueprints, drawings, schematics and engineering specs to build, calibrate and test electromechanical switches.

Responsibilities include hand soldering per J-STD-001, adjusting disc springs, and using calipers, gauges and dial indicators to ensure specifications are met. Maintain a clean workspace and follow safety around high pressure vessels.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to Hand Solder per J-STD-001.
• Able to read pressure gauges and interpret blueprints/drawings/specifications.
• Ability to use hand tools and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Hand soldering per J-STD-001.
• Adjusts disc springs to required settings.
• Checks, synchronizes and tests products using hand tools and precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Exercise care to prevent damage of components, tools and equipment and ensure safety around high pressure vessels.
