Aerotek is hiring a Solderer Assembler for a first-shift, contract-to-hire role in Poway, CA. You will hand solder and assemble electronic components, reading blueprints and instructions to ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications include 6 months to 1 year of soldering experience, electronic assembly know-how, and ability to read drawings. Through-hole and surface mount soldering taught, with a strong emphasis on detail and teamwork.

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform hand soldering and electronic assembly of components and products
• Read blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions
• Operate production equipment and hand tools safely
• Inspect assemblies for quality and workmanship defects
• Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• 6 months to 1 year of recent soldering experience
• Electronic assembly experience required
• Ability to read blueprints and assembly drawings
• Experience with through-hole and surface mount soldering
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• IPC-610 knowledge or soldering certification
• Experience with surface mount components
• Manufacturing or production environment experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
