Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Weekend Medical Device Assembler for Irvine, CA. The role focuses on electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly, requiring precision, teamwork, and adherence to GMP and SOP standards.

The position is contract-to-hire with a weekend shift (Fri-Sun) and 12-hour days. Prior medical device or manufacturing experience and the ability to read English manufacturing docs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma required with prior medical device or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in cleanroom or medical device assembly is advantageous.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support GMPs, FDA regulation compliance, and SOPs.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers.
• Work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Operate electrical and mechanical equipment and learn new processes.

Now Hiring Weekend Medical Device Assemblers!

Shift: 3/12 Weekend Shift (Friday - Sunday 12 hour shifts)

• 5am- 5:30pm

• 5:30pm- 5am

Job Description

The Assembler I will perform duties associated with electro-mechanical and clean room device assembly and packaging. This position requires manual hand assembly skills, attention to detail, initiative, teamwork, and the ability to produce consistently high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Support company goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and FDA regulations.

• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), departmental policies and procedures (DOPs), and safety and environmental standards.

• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers.

• Work with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Pay meticulous attention to detail and meet deadlines.

• Learn new equipment and processes quickly and demonstrate proficiency in their operation.

• Read and interpret manufacturing procedures, engineering drawings, and inspection procedures written in English.

• Ensure accuracy and thoroughness in work and monitor work quality.

• Practice and advocate good safety skills at all times.

Essential Skills

• Assembly and production skills in cleanroom settings.

• Experience with medical device assembly.

• Proficiency in using hand tools like micrometers and calipers.

• Ability to operate electrical and mechanical equipment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
