Job summary

Duke Energy Florida is seeking a Solar Tech II to support multiple PV plant sites across the service territory, performing troubleshooting, start-up support, and equipment modifications to ensure reliable operation.

You will schedule maintenance, assist with design changes, and help expand O&M capabilities while maintaining safety and compliance with environmental and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of electrical maintenance or Solar PV experience.
• Must have valid driver's license and MASS test completed.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review applications to determine if candidate meets basic qualifications.
