Zusammenfassung

Tampa Electric Company is seeking a Solar Technician II to troubleshoot and maintain all utility-scale solar plant systems, including inverters, tracking systems and arrays. You will provide operational support for solar plant-related problems and ensure reliable performance of plant instrumentation and RTU interfaces.

Required: High School diploma; 2 years related experience; preferred associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electronics Technology.

Qualifikationen

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Associates degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Troubleshoot and maintain utility-scale solar plant inverters.
• Maintain and modify solar plant tracking systems.
• Maintain and modify solar plant arrays including modules.
• Responsible for all plant process instrumentation.
• Maintain plant RTU interfaces.
• Support capital projects from a solar technician role.
• Support IT Security with NERC/CIP compliance.
• All other duties as assigned.
