Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Paris, TX is seeking a Solar Installer to contribute to the safe and successful installation of solar equipment at the project site. You will work with a team using a range of tools to assemble solar systems in line with work plans.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, adherence to safety policies, and being dependable. Experience in solar construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar construction projects preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to squat, crawl and work in awkward positions and confined spaces.
• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean job site and stock materials.
• Bolt up clamps for solar panels.
• Hoist torque tubes into position and align/secure torque tubes.
• Set drive motors and install solar modules.
• Receive/stock materials and maintain inventory.
• Quality control for the scope of work.
• General cleanup of materials and debris.
• All other duties assigned by site leadership.
