Job summary

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. seeks a Solar Installer for the Cumby, TX project site to safely install solar equipment according to work plans. The role involves using a range of tools to assemble solar systems and may include additional duties as directed by project leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar construction preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (50 lbs) and operate hand/power tools.
• Able to squat, crawl and work in confined spaces and varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a clean job site.
• Bolt up clamps and install solar modules and torque tubes.
• Hoist components, set drive motors, and install dampeners and linkage.
• Receive/stock materials and maintain inventory; perform quality control.
• Complete equipment checklists and report issues to supervision.
• Maintain and return tools; assist with general site cleanup.
• Support production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
