Job summary

McCarthy seeks a Solar Installer to join the team at the Moro, AR project site. The role involves assembling and constructing solar systems using a variety of tools in line with work plans, with additional duties as assigned by project leadership.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, site organization, equipment checks, module and torque tube installation, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience with solar construction projects preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and work in various positions.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and work in adverse weather.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean job site and organize materials.
• Bolt up clamps for solar panels.
• Hoist and align torque tubes and drive motors.
• Install solar modules and associated dampeners/linkages.
• Tighten bolts to torque specs and verify tooling.
