Job summary

CleanCapital is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Construction to support solar and battery storage projects. You will coordinate with the construction team and Senior Project Managers, manage day-to-day operations, and ensure projects run on time, on budget, and meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes AI literacy and integrating AI tools into daily workflows. The position is hybrid, requiring two days per week in the NYC office, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years in Construction Management, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Contract/PO Review
• Experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
• Experience in renewable energy and solar projects
• Proven AI literacy and ethical considerations in AI use

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact on projects of varying size and type
• Transition projects from development to asset management
• Assist in preparation of RFPs and bidding processes
• Assist in contract preparation and negotiation
• Generate schedules using Microsoft Project to assess timelines
• Maintain project documentation and internal logs
• Coordinate with EPCs and equipment vendors
• Monitor budgets and cash management, review invoices
