Job summary

Renewyx LLC seeks a Civil/Structural Design Engineer to support solar PV and battery energy storage projects from proposals to energization. You will design grading, foundations, drainage and prepare calculations, drawing on geotechnical and environmental reports.

Responsibilities include reviewing plans, performing QA/QC, and visiting sites to verify construction aligns with the design. Onsite work in the Greater Los Angeles area with travel up to 30% will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil or structural design for solar PV, storage, or renewables.
• Experience designing grading, foundations, or drainage with calculations.
• Degree in civil or structural engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze facility-level solar and BESS sites across the full project lifecycle.
• Review plan sets and vendor drawings and perform QA/QC checks.
• Visit sites to confirm construction follows the design.
