Job summary

Garber Electrical Contractors is seeking a Solar Service Foreman to keep PV systems performing at their peak, protecting uptime, quality, and safety on every site.

You will lead electricians, drive code-correct work, and coordinate with the PM and Dispatch to maintain momentum and clear communication across jobs. This role requires hands-on PV experience, strong leadership, and readiness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on PV/solar experience with leadership ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; reliable and punctual.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel; capable of lifting 75+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues on PV systems/solar arrays and identify improvement opportunities.
• Read/interpret blueprints and apply NEC requirements in the field.
• Test, commission, and verify inverter performance.
• Coordinate daily job status with the Project Manager and Dispatch; ask questions when clarity is needed.
