Job summary

Grid Titans is expanding its solar sales team across Northern California, seeking a proven professional to work with homeowners. You will follow up leads, conduct site visits, educate customers on solar, battery storage, and EV charging options, and present detailed proposals and contracts.

A CA HIS license and 2+ years of residential PV experience are required; leads provided and commission-based incentives offered.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Minimum 2 years of residential PV solar sales experience
• Applicants must hold a valid California Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license
• Strong negotiation skills and closing skills
• Excellent communication skills with a positive, professional attitude
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and coachable
• Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet during site visits
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Experience with software such as FieldPulse, Aurora, or GoHighLevel is a plus

Compensation: Competitive commission structure with performance incentives.

Responsibilities

• Follow up promptly with leads via phone, email, and text to qualify opportunities and schedule consultations as well as in person intake appointments.
• Conduct in-person site visits at residential and commercial properties to evaluate customer needs, assess installation requirements, and recommend appropriate solar, battery storage, or EV charging solutions.
• Educate customers on system options, project scope, timelines, and available incentives to help them make informed decisions.
• Prepare and present detailed estimates, proposals, and contracts to customers.
• Accurately enter and maintain customer information, project details, and communications within the company’s systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure projects move smoothly from proposal to installation.
• Address change orders, scope adjustments, and customer questions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain regular communication with customers and guide them through the installation process from initial consultation through project completion, as well as post installation follow up.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver a high-quality, professional experience at every stage of the project.
