Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Manager of Renewable Engineering (Solar) to lead a team performing engineering activities for utility-scale solar projects across the United States. The role supports opportunities from Origination and Renewable Energy Development and is located in Invenergy's downtown Chicago office with a hybrid schedule (in office Monday-Thursday, remote Friday).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Up to 25% travel may be required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Masters in engineering is a plus.
• Experience leading an engineering group is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional solar project engineering team.
• Support design, energy assessment, and risk analysis for utility-scale solar projects.
• Collaborate with Development, Origination, Pre-Construction, Project Management, Procurement, Environmental, Legal, Regulatory teams.
• Work with Project Management, Procurement, Electrical Engineering and Operations through project commercial operations.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, state and local officials, industry associations and other stakeholders.
