Job summary

Invenergy LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Manager, Renewable Engineering (Solar) to lead a regional solar engineering team and oversee design, energy assessment, and risk analysis for utility-scale projects nationwide.

The role collaborates across Origination, Development, Pre-Construction, and Operations, supports proposal development, and participates in the company’s hybrid office schedule (Mon–Thu in office, Fri remote). Minimum 5+ years engineering experience and a BS in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of engineering experience.
• Up to 25% travel required.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional solar project engineering team focused on design, energy assessment, risk analysis, and construction support.
• Collaborate with Development, Origination, Pre-Construction, and other teams to support project development and construction.
• Represent Invenergy LLC with customers, officials, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide engineering deliverables for proposal development for utility-scale solar projects.
