Job summary

SunPower Corporation in Orem, Utah is seeking a Mid-Level Quality Control Technician to join the solar installations team. You will be the main contact for Regional Installation Managers and crews, troubleshooting design issues in the field and coordinating in-office work to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include triaging failed final inspections, scheduling corrections, using CRM, Excel, AutoCAD, and Aurora, and ensuring corrections are completed before reinspection.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate between field and office.

Responsibilities

• Make same-day installation changes to layouts and interconnections.
• Identify root causes of field issues and prevent recurrences.
• Ensure field work types are completed correctly (MPUs, roof assessments).
• Answer calls with professional customer service.
• Coordinate between customers and field resources for corrections.
