SunPower is seeking a Solar Electrical & Quality Control Technician in Orem, UT. The mid-level role focuses on field issue triage, coordination with installation crews, and design-related queries to keep projects on track.

You will triage inspections, schedule corrections, and verify completed fixes to ensure quality installations. The position requires CAD proficiency, Excel, and strong customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• Has at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in CAD software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Make same day and immediate installation changes (layouts, interconnections, etc.).
• Identify root causes of field issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure field work types (MPUs, Roof Assessments) are completed correctly.
• Answer calls quickly with professional customer service.
• Coordinate between customers and field resources to schedule corrections.
• Create as-built permit applications for submissions in different jurisdictions.
