Job summary

Clearway Energy is seeking a Solar Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair solar PV systems. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work across trainee and Level I-III tasks to keep solar assets safe, efficient, and productive.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and willingness to learn through hands-on training and advancement exams. On-site work, possible on-call hours, and travel as needed are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, or willing to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude with no prior electrical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and work under direct supervision as a trainee.
• Shadow technicians to maintain PV systems.
• Operate and maintain service vehicle and respond to on-call shifts.
• Assist with troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs across levels I-III.
