Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking a Technical Maintenance professional in Aulander, NC to monitor and maintain utility-scale PV power plants while operating SCADA systems. The role includes testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring electrical safety and compliance with standards.

Required are 2+ years in a related role or equivalent certification, plus a High School Diploma and technical training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College or technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent training in military, utility, or power industry a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in a related position or Journey level certification.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV plant operation through SCADA and controls.
• Perform commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshoot and maintain AC/DC PV systems components.
• Repair and modify PV components including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Ensure safety procedures, Job Hazard Analysis, and environmental compliance.
