Job summary

GS2 | B Corp™ is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a utility-scale solar project in Newbern, Alabama. The role is 100% on-site, overseeing electrical construction, QC, and the interpretation of engineering drawings to direct field crews.

The ideal candidate will have ~5 years of hands-on electrical experience in solar PV, with strong QC capabilities and familiarity with substation work. High school diploma required; Southeast residency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of proven, on-ground electrical construction experience for utility-scale Solar PV.
• Must have strong Quality Control (QC) and electrical inspection experience within solar PV installations.
• Exposure to substation work is highly desirable.
• High school diploma is required; college degree is welcome but practical field capability matters more.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site electrical execution to align with project specs and safety standards.
• Lead electrical inspections across PV arrays and provide oversight for substation tie-ins.
• Review, interpret, and translate electrical drawings into actionable field directives for crews.
• Drive a 7-day-a-week project schedule, maintaining momentum and addressing field issues promptly.
