Job summary

Overland Contracting Inc. is seeking a Craft QC Inspector to visually and physically inspect solar PV systems on uneven terrain, roofs, or other structures, ensuring compliance with site assessments and schematics.

The role involves measuring, torquing, and verifying components in support of field quality control. The ideal candidate has 1+ year of QC inspection experience in construction, familiarity with NCCER credentials, and the ability to read plans, use hand and power tools, and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as QC Inspector or in any construction craft.
• Knowledge of visual and physical inspection of solar PV systems.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Must have all necessary tools (see Craft QC Tool List).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools to inspect PV systems.
• Lift, carry and handle materials and tools; keep work areas clean.
• Follow safety processes and stop-work if hazards arise until resolved.
• Report accidents and near misses to supervisor and participate in investigations.
• Read and interpret plans and specifications; observe installed equipment for hazards and needed adjustments.
