Job summary

DCE Solar seeks a Traveling Project Superintendent to oversee daily operations at solar construction sites, ensuring adherence to specs and project timelines. You will coordinate with subcontractors, labor, and logistics to keep work on schedule and within budget.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and clear communication with Project Managers and customers. Travel to remote sites is required, with on-site presence for extended periods as projects demand.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in general construction project management; 1 year of solar experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction management, or a combination of education and appropriate experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and subcontractor workforce.
• Must be willing to travel to remote sites and stay on location for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and communicate changes in method, labor, materials, and subsurface conditions.
• Manage field projects for Mechanical and/or Electrical scope of work.
• Supervise subcontractors and labor crews to ensure conformance to plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate material and equipment logistics with Procurement.
• Maintain daily paperwork including logs, schedules, emails, and site photos.
