Job summary

Knobelsdorff seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead solar projects from handoff to closeout in our Goodhue, MN location. You will ensure scope, budget, and schedule adherence while interfacing with clients and internal teams for smooth execution.

Responsibilities include developing schedules, managing costs, coordinating with Construction Managers, Engineering, and Estimating, and overseeing change orders and project deliverables. Some travel and after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing utility-scale photovoltaic projects.
• Ability to report daily progress to leadership and keep projects on time and budget.
• Strong client-facing communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Proven ability to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar projects from handoff through closeout, managing scope, contracts, schedules, budgets, and safety.
• Develop and maintain schedules, coordinating with Construction Managers and superintendents.
• Manage financials: weekly reviews, forecasts, billing, and SOVs in Viewpoint.
• Serve as primary customer contact for updates, change orders, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Pre-Construction, and Estimating on scope and submittals.
• Track materials, equipment, subcontractors, and delivery timelines; manage quotes and awards.
• Support safe field execution; ensure safety documents and KE procedures are followed.
• Lead handoff, kickoff, coordination, and closeout meetings with field/support teams.
