Talent Solutions Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Milford, CT area client, a growing commercial electrical contractor with a focus on solar installations. The role oversees large-scale projects from contract execution through completion, balancing schedules, budgets, and stakeholder communications.

The position requires 4+ years in commercial/electrical/utility-scale solar, strong NEC knowledge, and proficient use of PM software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
• Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and municipal solar projects across CT.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and establish execution plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules with critical path and utility timelines.
• Manage procurement of major equipment including modules, inverters, switchgear, transformers, and balance of system materials.
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, testing, and approvals.
• Track project budgets and monitor costs to maintain margins.
• Review subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Submit and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure design intent.
• Oversee permitting and inspection processes.
• Manage project billing milestones and support O&M transition.
• Maintain organized project documentation and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in project lifecycle.
