Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is hiring a Project Manager to oversee large commercial and municipal solar projects across CT, from kickoff through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, procurement, utility coordination, and client communications in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in PM for electrical construction or solar, NEC knowledge, and strong leadership. A company vehicle and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, electrical construction, or utility-scale solar.
• Strong understanding of NEC and electrical construction practices.
• Experience managing projects exceeding 500 kW preferred.
• Experience with municipal contracts and public bid work preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong budgeting and cost control experience.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and municipal solar projects (rooftop, ground mount, carport, and portfolio-based) across Connecticut.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and establish execution plans.
• Develop and maintain project schedules (critical path, long lead items, utility coordination timelines).
• Manage procurement of major equipment including modules, inverters, switchgear, transformers, and balance of system materials.
• Coordinate with utilities for interconnection, witness testing, and approvals.
• Track project budgets and monitor costs to ensure margin targets are maintained.
• Review and manage subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Submit and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate with engineering and field teams to ensure design intent is executed correctly.
• Oversee permitting and inspection processes.
• Manage project billing milestones and support O&M transition at project completion.
• Maintain organized project documentation and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks early in the project lifecycle.
