Knobelsdorff Enterprises in Minnesota is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead solar project teams and drive on-time, on-budget delivery. You will manage scopes, schedules, costs, and client communications across multiple sites, coordinating with engineering, construction, and procurement to ensure successful project outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in utility-grade photovoltaic project management.
• Ability to report progress daily to leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Experience with project management and resource coordination (estimation, planning, scheduling, cost, purchasing, ops, client-facing).
• Ability to develop comprehensive project plans for clients and teams.
• Ability to meet with clients to gather project details and clarify requirements.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
• Ability to meet budgetary objectives and adapt to constraints.
• Experience tracking project performance and milestones.
• Ability to delegate tasks based on strengths.
• Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Willing to travel to out-of-town projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and oversee multiple solar projects.
• Oversee project and contract execution to meet scope and budget.
• Schedule construction and plan resources (people, materials, equipment).
• Manage the project budget and report status to leadership.
• Ensure site safety materials and compliance with KE procedures.
• Interface with clients: communicate status, handle change orders, invoicing, deliverables.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment.
• Maintain the project schedule and meet milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering on submittals and RFIs.
• Lead kickoff meetings and coordinate with teams for success.
• Review contracts to confirm scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate meetings and ensure proper stakeholder alignment.
