Job summary

OCI Energy LLC in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Project Development Manager to lead all land and project development for current and future solar projects. Under general supervision from the Vice President of Project Development, you will drive due diligence, zoning, interconnection, permits and environmental reviews.

You will coordinate with landowners, lawyers, surveyors, engineers and EPCs to finalize terms, secure easements and title policies, and manage cross‑functional deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy or related field.
• 4+ years of active Solar Project Development (Real Estate) experience.
• Landman experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Negotiation experience and contract familiarity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a high-performing team.
• Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage all aspects of land development for OCI’s current and future projects.
• Conduct real estate research to identify suitable sites and manage commercial terms and agreements.
• Perform zoning and use-of-land searches for solar farm development.
• Coordinate interconnection analysis for transmission or distribution lines.
• Coordinate surveys (ALTA, TOPO) for potential lands and identify site boundaries.
• Conduct or coordinate mineral title searches and assess title risk.
• Negotiate terms and execute agreements for easements and ROWs.
• Coordinate with landowners, legal, finance, and EPC teams through project lifecycle.
• Ensure permits across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
