Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Maintenance Technician for utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and repair of AC/DC solar systems, inverters, and switchgear. Strong electrical safety and CMMS skills are essential.

Role requires 2+ years in a related position, high school diploma, and relevant electrical certifications. Travel to sites will be required, and a valid driver’s license is a must.

Qualifications

• High school completion required; college or technical degree preferred.
• Electrical certifications and journeyman status are a plus.
• Experience with electrical safety, arc flash standards, and CMMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quarterly KPIs: energy generation, planned maintenance, and efficiency.
• Uphold safety by enforcing company protocols and job hazard analysis.
• Perform PM work including measurements, testing, and maintenance on site components.
• Communicate professionally with internal/external stakeholders.
• Assist planning, installation, commissioning, and quality inspections on site.
• Draft and enforce work instructions and testing procedures.
• Ensure work orders are complete and reports filed.
• Attend training on safety, environment, and related topics.
• Keep work area clean to 5S standards and verify SCADA configurations.
• Adhere to vehicle maintenance standards and safety.
• All other duties as assigned.
