Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Manager for the Piney Woods Solar Energy Center in Walker County, Texas. You will oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient solar facility.

The role requires PV maintenance experience, SCADA familiarity, NEC/NFPA knowledge, budgeting, and strong vendor coordination. Travel up to 50% may be required. This is a safety-sensitive position with drug testing consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA standards.
• Experience with PV maintenance and SCADA systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operation of the Piney Woods Solar Energy Center in a safe, environmentally sound manner.
• Prepare and implement operating and maintenance procedures ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
• Recruit, train and manage plant operating, maintenance and administrative staff.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and status reports.
• Interface with local customers and suppliers.
• Procure parts, materials and services; resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and contractual responsibilities.
• Perform routine QA checks of solar technician work; assist technicians when needed.
