Job summary

Invenergy LLC operates Piney Woods Solar, a 150 MW-AC utility-scale facility near Huntsville, Texas. The Solar Technician will assist in operating and maintaining the site, performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring safe, efficient operation.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of technical experience. Travel up to 30% and occasional night work are anticipated, with a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of technical experience in electrical or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and work nights during maintenance.
• Capable of outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on all site solar, substation, and associated equipment.
• Conduct vegetation management and operate large equipment as needed per plan.
• Troubleshoot inverter, tracker, network, and substation faults and site performance issues.
• Maintain safety equipment and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Work 7:00am–3:30pm Monday–Friday with overtime and occasional night shifts.
