Job summary

Heliene, Inc. in Mountain Iron, MN, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain and repair large production machinery on a 12-hour shift rotation (4 on, 4 off). The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, breakdown support, and safe, reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Trade school or vocational college degree with related coursework in electrical or mechanical systems.
• Preferred 3 years' experience or equivalent education, training and experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA/EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on production machinery.
• Identify failures, analyze causes, and take corrective actions.
• Read blueprints and schematics to guide maintenance work.
• Repair pneumatic and electrically controlled systems.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and parts used.
• Support development of internal SOPs and equipment guides.
